With a good pretreatment I can print 80% white & still get a good image quality on the shirt.ħ. Finally you can print white inks on a shirt with ease + be pleased. I use a spray gun + sponge roller to make the liquid even on the shirt.Ħ. A good pretreatment = good surface coverage + evenly distributed. A good pretreatment will saves you a lot of white inks. Confirm this by printing another nozzle check.ĥ. finally you will get all nozzles spitting like a gangster. After cleaning for a few hours (I spent almost 2 hours the 1st time). Clean the print head manually using a cleaning solutions. If this doesn't do the job, get ready to get your hands dirty. If its clogged, do an auto head cleaning first (From the printer setting or RIP software). This will just waste a lot of inks & you will never get descent whites.ģ. If its clogged & you still print white, the print will looks greyish & you might need to do 2 or 3 pass & sometimes need to increase white up to 150%. In my case with the Epson 1390, the white nozzle gets clogged every day. If the nozzle is clogged (some lines missing) do a head cleaning.
